Memory benchmark drops after hitting 133 FSB

Hi, I was able to get a decent memory benchmark on my Asus P4b 533-E with P4 1.8a at 128 FSB. I got if I am not mistaken somewhere around less than 3000 but when I got it running at 133 FSB at 1.6 v, the memory benchmark drops to 1500.

Does anybody know what's going on? I use the Mushkin HiPerf Level 2 Cas 2-2-2.

Thanks

at 3:4 and 128, your memory should be clocked at ~340, which would put you 2600-2900 in sisoft (depending on speed settings).
1500 is way low, meaning that your memory is clocked about 200; this would correspond to a 4:3 ratio at 133.

if it is confirmed at a cpu/dram of 3:4, try 1:1 to see if you see an improvement (~2000). if so, then your bios is using a 4:3 instead of a 3:4, regardless of what it shows.

also your mushkin might need lower settings at a higher fsb. you can try to set it at 2.5,5,3,3.

ok, let me see what the BIOS settings are. I am at work so I can't do anything with it. Anyway, thugs just send me an email telling me to enable dip switch 6. I will keep you guys posted on this.

I think I am gonna stick with cas 2-2-2 since I know it can handle it. Thanks
