Memory bandwidth question and cpu question

highspeed

Hi, first of all i want to say that anandtech roulz. Very nice tests you have.

I read your memory test on crucial ballistix pc3200. After that i bought one stick of 512mb. They work great. I now run 278 mhz (DDR556) 2.5-3-3-10 @ 3.1v. Anyway i testet sisoft sandra to see the bandwidth perfomance. Here it is:

my bandwidth

But in your test you got at the same memory speed 7165 INT and 7109 FLT. Is that because you run 2x512 or have i done something seriously wrong?

I have a 3200+ mobile clawhammer. I having problem to reach above 2340 mhz. Higher then that windows just reboots, often without bluescreens. It doesnt matter how much voltage the cpu get(i testet up to 1.85). I think i should reach much higher then that, dont you think? I using asetek waterchill so the temps are good. One more thing is very strange. I can run 8.5*278 and windows starts, not stable though. I can also run 7.5*278 perfectly stable. BUT when i try 8*278 the computer just reboots after the Lanparty logo. Very very strange. Because 2340 is perfectly stable, so the cpu can handle the 8*278. And its not my memory , because its work @ those timings and that speed(testet with memtest with 0 errors). Have you any idea whats wrong?

Thanks!
