Memory and XP

I got some "standard" grade memory and put it in with my Mushkin and it killed windows XP, meaning it wont boot. I had to F-Disk and reinstall. Tried the memory after the fresh install and same thing. It would hang on boot. Anyone have similar eXPerience?

Have you checked to see if your new RAM isn't actually dead?

XP takes alot of MEMORY!

The memory works fine in my other machines. They have "standard" ram tho.
