Memory and power supply suggestions

Well, I think I might finally upgrade again (after more than two years!). I'm looking at this deal with an Opteron 165. I have already read some reviews on this board, like the one on AT (EVGA's board is just a rebranded Jetway).

So, I have two questions. I want to purchase 2x1 GB RAM and am wondering what you would recommend. I plan on overclocking the opty hopefully to 289x9 (2.6GHz). Should I just get Corsair value RAM or would something else with lower latency increase performance more than 2%? Newegg has some good deals right now:

Corsair XMS
OCZ Platinum
PQI Turbo
Patriot

My second question is in regards to my power supply. It's the Antec True Control 550w (I bought it two years ago). My main concern is with the lack of the 24-pin ATX plug (I have read the post in the forums regarding this) and the lack of enough power on the 12v rail. I do not plan on running SLI, but I might consider it in a year or so.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

You should be able to use a 20 to 24 pin adapter for the antec ps. For memory, I've used the pqi on a different board. Check the manufacturer's website for recommended memory with the motherboard.
