1. I've heard that having more than 128 MB of memory can start slowing your system back down, is this true?

2. I have a bx6 motherboard. Is there a slocket (and if so where can I find it) to support (and overclock?) celeron 2's?

Any help for me (a moron) is appreciated. Thanks.

Answer to question 1 is NO. Having more than 128MB of RAM will not slow you down.

this WAS true in the age of Pentiums where the L2 cache were on the motherboard and there is not enough TAG MEMORY to cover more than a certain amount of System Memory, therefore rendering it 'uncacheable over xx MB - the slowdown'
