Bought 2 New SDRam modules from Crucial: Specs listed below.

Part Number CT32M64S4D7E
Module Size 256MB
Package 168-pin DIMM
Feature SDRAM, PC133
Configuration 32Meg x 64
DIMM Type Unbuffered
Error Checking Non-parity
Speed 7.5ns
Voltage 3.3V
SDRAM Timings CL=2

I am unsure of the best bios setting being that its speed is rated @ 7.5ns.

--I my system bios (v 1007) the options are: 7ns, 8ns, by SPD, and user defined.

--7ns (143Mhz): -CAS LATENCY = T2, RAS PRECHARGE TIME =T2, RAS to CAS DELAY=T2

--8ns (125Mhz): -CAS LATENCY = T3, RAS PRECHARGE TIME =T3, RAS to CAS DELAY=T3

--SPD (not shown) : -CAS LATENCY = T3, RAS PRECHARGE TIME =T2, RAS to CAS DELAY=T2

Anyone have any knowledge of this?

In addition, the memory check that normally shows up durings POST doesen't anymore unless I disable the "Quick power on self test". I'm not sure if this is a problem, but I don't believe its normal.

Has anyone tweaked an AV7 bios with good results? I would love to see the optimal settings for a system similar to mine.
