Memory and Abit KT7

I have an Abit KT133 motherboard that is really picky about what memory it runs. I have generic memory (cos it's much cheaper here) that ran fine overclocked on my old socket 7 motherboard, but now only one stick works. Do I have to bite the bullet and get decent branded memory?

Cheers.

Well, for the most part i think the board has pretty good support for generic ram, no one has mentioned it yet. However, i did build my g/f's machine on a KA7-100, pretty much the same board for the slot A folk, and i had some problems. I bought some generic, i mean GENERIC, stuff... had to be the lowest quality ever. It was called LD memory. Couldn't get the machine to post with it so i went out and got her a real stick, some atlas precision grade, worked great. You should probably just sell that stick off and buy some quality stuff, with the prices so low and all.
