Any advantages in the 3500, 3700, or 4000 categories? Or is 3200 all you really need?

The ballistix isnt offered in a 1GB DIMM so are you saying buy 2x512?

I just looked at the Ballistix prices, it would cost about $270 roughly for 2x512 PC4000.

It'll probably be cheaper to just go 2x512 (though it may adversely affect your overclocking potential), but I went to Crucial's site and saw a 1GB DIMM rated for PC4000 at CL3. It was $290 before a 4% discount there, though. By comparison, you can get 2x512 of some TCCD on a budget for closer to $200-220.
Sounds good to me!Originally posted by: dtboos

I'd personally save ~$20 and get the PC3200 which will perform just as good, and actually has lower latency.
