I forgot to mention, Compgeeks deals normally only last about a week so get a piece of this one while its still around.

Sounds great. Ground shipping is $7 for me. Is it still worth it? Are these any good quality wise? What is the bat life?

Thanks

I bought it yesterday with a few other things and shipping was $8. I had a generic brand keyboard/mouse set that I originally bought for $25. The mouse was not optical, had no charger, no on/off switch, and the batteries died quickly.

This looks like a great deal for $19, since it comes with a charger, optical mouse, 5 buttons... among other features.

The only downside I see is that it is refurbished.

Thanks, bough one. Also, does the charger work for the keyboard and mouse or should I get a seperate battery charger pack?

Yes you do need a coupon, which can be found at the better coupon sites. I also own a very similar mouse/keyboard and it is absolutely great! $19 is a very good price on wireless mouse/keyboard combo!

Just got mine today. I realy like the mouse. The keyboard uses stadard AA alkaline bats. Pansonic LR6 come with the kit. They should last 3-4 months acording to the manual but I dought it. The only thing I don't like is having a dead keyboard when I realy need it. Do these keyboards realy last that long? And is the battery low warning at good time to replace the bats?

Other then that this seems like a great kit

Thanks

The batteries seriously last a lot longer then you think on wireless keyboard/mice. Ive had standard generic AA's in my set for over 8 months and still have not had to change them and the set works like it did on day 1. The set has a battery saving mechanism which doesnt drain the battery when your not using it.

Thanks, good to know. Does the same apply to the mouse? It says it should last 8 hours after a full charge. Could it actualy be 8 days?

I set up everything and the keyboard works great but the mouse is a compete disaster?

My old $10 optical mouse worked fine on my white desk (not optimal I know) with a hickup once in a while, this mouse works only once in a while if ever.

I tried a magazine cover wich was said on some review to be the ideal surface for optical mice to detect dew to the pixels. It worked barely better then the table. I do have an old cloth covered dirty mouse pad and on it it would work, but still horribly.

The only thing is that the mouse is fast as I dropped the mouse speed to nearly the lowest setting to use it.

I noticed no other posts about this. Does anyone else have any problems with their mice or do they work fine?

Thanks
