Woah, they've even got 50pks of the black ones for $14.88. Anyone had any luck w/ those? I've always wanted to pick up some but they're like $30 for a 50pk at BestBuy...

I just went to a staples B&M in California, and they have Memorex 100 pack CD-R 80 minutes for $34.99, (it says $49.99 on the shelf, but rings up differently at the register), plus there's a $20 rebate. Total = $14.99. Only 5 dollars more, but twice as many CD-Rs. Not thread crapping, just thread adding... yeah, that's the ticket. :)

I've had bad experiences with Memorex CDR's. I'm not sure if they fixed the problem, but my Memorex CDR's would always peel (off the top), rendering them useless. Good luck to you though.

I had the same problem... The backing was very easily scratched. But a friend of mine had a lot of luck with the black ones... and they just look cool!

In a matter of moments, the "Free shipping" option dissapeared for this item.

I wasn't able to get my order in...

Maybe they caught on (it wasn't supposed to have free shipping?)

<< I've had great luck with the black ones, too. The only problem is that you can't see if it's written to or not. >>

I totally agree, I did not however find that they worked in more devices than regular silver cd-r's as they said on the package....

if you burn em - label them asap!!!
