BTW.. I got in on the same deal for $10 more for the Imation DVD+R's for the Black Friday sale. I've never liked Memorex for CD-R's and back when I was still buying blank cassette tapes. They always seemed to be of low quality. I can still return the Imation discs for $50 and buy these for $40. What would you do?

These appear to be 4x (according the manuf. model #). Been looking for good 4x DVD-Rs at this price point. And I get to get a box of those x-fine Pilot retractable gel pens, too...

50 pack 4x memorex @ BB for $50 no rebate now. Online or B&M. Not too shabby.

Everyone seems to misunderstand how it's done. See you add two to your cart. Add something like the paperclips. Use both coupons. It will end up being cheaper and no rebates.

Only one warning though. Memorex may possibly have switched to CMC, so I would suggest getting an in store pickup.

How can you tell, by going in the store, the manufacturer of the DVD's? Would it say so on the DVD itself?

They don't. Someone gets a pack and uses a cd/dvd id on them in their computer.

So.. Can anyone see any reason for me to keep the Imation's (Ricoh) at $10 more than the Memorex (CMC's)?

Great deal. Just got mine. 50+Rs for $42.76. I chose to get some rubber bands (85c)instead of the paper clips. I have enough paper clips from the last OD deal!

I got 2 Memorex 50 disc spindles from OD about a month ago and they are 4x Ricohs that burn at 8x with no problems on my Plextor 708A.

Had option of getting two 25PK Memorex DVD-R packs for $44 taxed and shipped.

However.... seeing I need to do some secret santa shopping and I know Office Depot ships fast I changed course.

Here's what I got and how much it came to...
Buy One Get One Free CD-R 700MB Discs - 19.88
Buy One Get One Free Memorex DVD MEDIA 25-PK - $49.87
Leatherette Wallet For 3 1/2" Diskettes, 10 Capacity, Black - $5.27

After shipping and Tax: $58.87

Worked my cheapy gifts under the $5 limit average.... on top of buying some more DVD+R media to "make single copies" with DVD X-Copy over the holidays of some of "my" DVDs. :)
