Here's a decent deal on Memorex CD-R's. Ad in todays paper from Sears has these at 50% off, now $19.99. Offered through 7/3 at B&M.

These are 80 minute, but I can't say if they are gold on the bottom. I haven't got a chance to get to the store - sorry.

Darn, what a hot deal.. I went to TWO sears.. and both sold out!! earliest pre-order was for the 27th of July!!! Yep they are gold colored on the bottom :) But I didn't get any, that bites :( oh well, nice find, I hope they have similar sales again! I really like Memorex's 80 minute CD's, do you guys know of any other good brand for 80 minute, brands that could resist high heat (summer days in the car with the windows up).

Damn you are kidding, the store sales man told me it was gold, i was about to even grab two packs, but they were sold out. I perfer gold colors, they are actually really light green with gold. Are you sure it's not that?

They are really light green on the bottom. My son works for sears selling computers and he said just order them at the store, you will get the sale price and they will come in soon.

Onvia has PNY's for the 19.99 after rebate (yeah yeah, PNY rebate is suck. I've never had a problem, though.) Although their site says through June 30, the rebate is good through July 31.

And they're 700 MB.

Yeah I know about the pre-ordering , but their next expected patch (if i pre-order now) is 7/27/00 and that is way too long! I think I'll pass.

valno600: Not same deal, you posted a 2 weeks ago on these! Now $19.99. Did you really expect someone to look back 2 weeks ago for a deal that is valid only for this weekend? Could even be a different item.

And BTW, thanks for the name calling, I'm sure we all appreciate and respect you even more today.

Have a great one....

It's branded and it's light blue/green at the bottom. I went to Sears yesterday morning and picked up two of them. They still had about 4 of them when I left the store. Hot deal IMO. The best CD-R deal I've ever seen. Memorex is good, not just some generic CD-R from Fry's.

Lookin through the Best Buy ad for this week and they have PNY 50 spindle 12X 80 min for $19.99 - $5 mail in rebate. Total will be $14.99. This seems like a better deal since they are 12X compatible and cheaper. Unless Memorex brands are much better ( which I seriously doubt)

I bought the Kingston CDR's last week from Outpost...Specs. - 80min, 700MB, Multi-speed 8x. They are blue on the bottom....SuperDave you may need to have your burner looked at....I haven't had a coaster yet...They are great! I usually use Verbatim, but I may have found a new brand. I bought the 50 pack for like 20 bucks. Very good price and worth every penny. I wasn't sure how they would be, but I think they are great...Hope this helps someone out with doubts about Kingston.

Hey CrazyJake...what burner do you have? My Plextor 12/10/32 should be arriving tomorrow. I ordered the 12x Kingston from Outpost and am going to use them on it. Burn, baby burn!
