This is a repost! But it is also a good deal. :) Good to be reminded. Maybe I will grab some this time.

Target has TDK 25 packs of DVD-R or DVD+R media for $29.99 this week.

Target's price is $29.00, not $29.99. Search for Target's 10% off and free shipping coupon code (1 coupon code gets both) and that makes the TDK's $1.31 each. Memorex comes out to be $1.20 each. I would consider buying the TDK's for a little more because I use TDK's a lot and I have never coastered one. I think I'll start a thread on this one.

You really need to be more specific. Are you talking of the TDK or the Memorex? Was it "+R" or "-R" discs?

I have used the Memorex DVD+R discs and the TDK DVD+R discs with great results in my Sony DRU-500A.

Memorex DVD-R's. Burning at 1x I've even had coasters with nothing running.

Yeah, the Memorex -R disks are probably CMC magnetics - not known for their quality. The Memorex +R disks, on the other hand, are Ricoh, which generally get good reviews. I've burned the +Rs at 4x on an optorite DD0201 with no problems at all.

Placed my order with Amazon on Oct 29th using free delivery. Ship date Nov 3rd (3 business day delay or 5 reg days) and expect delivery by Nov 8th. All told over a week wait time. But no sales tax charged ...
