I just watched the film and I was really amazed at how good it was.

So basically... the ending didn't make me angry or pissed off, I was just wondering what the hell was going on.

I hate how filmmakers and authors often insert cliffhanger type endings! I understand the fact that they help people think about the film and the fact that it draws people back to the film to examine it, but if we're purely talking about the storyline to have so much goddamn buildup and to not get any satisfaction. :brokenheart:

Anybody else watch this and want to share their theories about the film?

First, you should spell the name of the movie right.

Second, he figured out the truth, but he didn't like it, so he chose not to write it down so he could forget it and basically start back over at square one to give him a purpose again.

The movie raised a lot of questions about the nature of memory and how powerful memories (accurate or not) can be.

Plus it was great filmmaking.

Oh, and Carrie Anne Moss is hot.

How exactly should he have spelled it? Go ahead, look it up.

lol I changed it, he was right. =P sry.

Anyway, to those who say that teddy was telling the truth the whole time, He is lying on the bed with his wife and he is supposed to be giving her an insulin shot. That whole scene seems awkward compared to his "imagination" of him just pinching her. I mean he's half-dressed on a bed with her and he gives her an insulin shot? His wife's face at a glimpse if I remember didn't look distressed or anything.

Also if he is sammy jankins then the scene where sammy is in a mental institution flashes to him in the same mental institution, which would then suggest that this is all just his imagination. What? That makes absolutely no sense because then the story is just bs and meaningless. He just imagined it. Great. He also didn't kill anybody nor does it matter.

Basically, it doesn't hold up or would someone point it out to me?
