so i'm prepping a build (5000+ BE, 780g ds3 gigabyte, supertalent ddr2-800 4-4-3-8 2x 1gb), and i've gotten kind of ambitious, i'm sure....but if this mem does 4-4-3-8 @ 2T, i feel certain that i can run it @ 1T with looser timings (as confirmed by a few others who have this mem...i know, my mileage may vary).

my question is, do i gain that much by going with 1T @ 5-5-5-15, or am i better off sticking with 4-4-3-8 @ 2T? note that these modules are known to do their stock timings at 1.95v, and it seems to take 2.25-2.3v to get them to 1T....
i won't be oc'ing them very much, if at all. i'm getting the blackie for a reason...i want to oc only from the multiplier, so i don't have to stress my components too terribly.
any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think there's only one way to tell. Run super pi mod with both settings.

If you must know, AMD overclockers want to get the very last bit of juice out of their systems.
