mem test time

I running mem test in windows on 1155 at 4200mhz with 8 megs memory and test is less then half done in 40 minutes.
Running 3 test with 2000meg and 1 test 1200meg.98% memory used.

When I ran this same mem test on a 1356 at 4200mhz with 6 megs this test is done in a third of the time.
Why does it take longer on a 1155 setup.

My guess would probably be dual-vs-tri channel, or perhaps somehow your settings were different, or perhaps the memory test version between computers is different?

1. Less memory to test (6 vs 8GB) 25% reduction of job
2. More memory bandwidth (triple vs dual channel) 50% more memory bandwidth

should be done in roughly half the time assuming memory timings and frequency are the same.
