mem problem on asus p4p800 se

i have an asus p4p800 se paired with pqi 3200 turbo 512 ram (256 X 2)

my old ASROCK recognized it fine and ran dual channel at 400 mhz just fine, but the same ram on my asus will only run at 333mhz tops. i really dont know why that is, do i have to update the bios?

im also thinkin of overclockin the memory after midterms are over, cuz i just dont have any time to do anything. could i have like a small beginners guide to OCing memory

You sure the ram is compatable? I'd try to flash to the newest bios as most of the time that will fix ram incompatability probs. As far as overclocking goes, check this out, it's the mother of all O/Cing guides!

i confuse ddr400 and the actual mhz that it runs at. 166 mhz is ddr333 i assume, so what would be 200 mhz and 333 mhz etc.?
