I have had my GA-7N400 Pro board for almost a year now using 1-512MB Samsung PC3200 chip. I started playing Farcry and got lots of errors... started getting massive errors running 3DMark, tested the memory using MemTest and it was "bad".
So I replaced/upgraded it with the following:
Try 1: 2-256MB Kingston PC3200
Try 2: 2-512MB Crucial PC3200
In both cases, I failed MemTest & Microsoft Memory Diagnosis utility.
I tried the Crucial in almost every possible memory slot combination both running in Dual Channel and Single Channel mode.
In the Microsoft Memory Diagnostic, I seemed to only fail the "Stride-6" and "LRAND".
When I use any of these chips by them selves (only 1 memory slot), they all pass the tests without any problem.
Does anyone know of any common problems with this board?
I have the latest BIOS and Drivers.
