Coke contains sugar. Sugar can lead to obesity. Obesity can lead to health problems. Those health problems can include heart disease. People can die from heart disease.

So, using the same "logic" he used in the DUI thread, PoW would probably like to see you charged with genocide and sent to the gas chamber for such an action.

But you can buy me a coke. 😀

I actually do try to avoid too much soda, though there are times when I drink it. But don't even attempt to make a valid comparison between most drugs, smoking, and soda. Though I have some heavy friends, only one or two drink sugar sodas...so I haven't watched someone end their life with coke. I've watched MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY people die or effectively destroy their lives with smoking and drugs however.

If you didn't grow up your entire life watching what lung cancer does to someone you love, if you didn't hold your mothers hand when she died from smoking before you even left high school, if you didn't watch the smartest people you knew turn into worthless vegetables because they'd rather smoke pot than draw a breath, if you didn't attend the funeral of your best friend who died of an overdose, then you have no right to judge me on this.

I'm glad some people find enjoyment in drugs. I'm all for total legalization of all drugs in fact. I'm also not going to waste my life or my love on someone that's just going to die a slow, miserable, horrible death before their time.

Completely. I wouldn't date a woman that smoked if she came with a million dollar bounty.

Let me clarify that by stating that if it's just a one time thing, I could get over it. I mean, a lot of people try it a few times sort of thing, then never go back. That's fine. Just not frequently and not EVER while we're together.

Uh..IIRC she was doing it for an "episode" of the "show" she does. Who knows if she even smokes regularly. I don't smoke myself..but I don't mind going to a Hookah bar or smoking a cigar every once in a while. There is no harm in living a little. Its the people who smoke 1/2 or 1 pack every day that I would have trouble dating.

See, what's truly pitiful is that you think you're looking down on me. Pity, my friend, is what I feel for someone that thinks honor, dignity, personal responsibility, etc are things to be ridiculed.

I'm sorry your life is so grotesque and empty that you need these things to fill it...I'm sorry that you find nothing worthwhile in another human so that you can watch them die without the slightest sorrow. I, however, am different.
