But my IQ is higher than the IQ of 99.99% of the people, as I learned when I did my military service.
Being smarter than 99.99% of the French army is no compliment....

lozina and Siwy, you did not notice that Mel gave figures (in millions) about everything he was not asked about but refuses to communicate what he believes the scope of the holocaust was...not problematic? The problem is exactly this, on the contrary, since his father does not say that Hitler did nothing to the jews but that he killed less than 6 million. Far less. Mel does not deny what his father said at all.
My mind is more precise than yours. And I am less naive than you. Maybe since we have the "privilege" to have here in France one of the most notorious negationists on Earth, and a large neo-fascist party whose leader is a negationist, a fan of Hitler, who has to be cunning to express his "ideas" since french laws prohibit the expresion of racism and the negation of the holocaust. Mel answered in a circumvented way, just like these insane french negationists use to.

Well Nietz, I see hubris has infected your mind, so no matter what reasoning we may try to present to you, you'll stick to the interpretations you make based on your 'exceptional' intelligence.

There's no point in trying to communicate with you then, you're a closed door.

Well, lozina, I believe you are one of the brightest persons on this board.
But my IQ is higher than the IQ of 99.99% of the people, as I learned when I did my military service. So writing that my mind is more precise than yours is merely the expression of a reality. There are other realities. Maybe you are more literate, or more sane than me, or wiser, or more experienced, I do not know, but my mind is more precise than yours.

Now back to the answer of Mel: millions this, millions that, blah blah blah,...but how many million jews did die in the nazi death camps, Mel?
Nietzscheusw, you're so full of yourself it's amazing. IQ means nothing. It's a test that measures your intelligence compared to the average person of every age group. If you're 20 and you have an IQ of 160 (which I believe is genius level), all that means is that you're as intelligent as an average 32-year-old. Ooooooh! Big deal. The "average" 32-year-old isn't very intelligent. I knew more at 20 than the average 32-year-old. Who cares?!

On that note, who cares if Mel Gibson thinks that only 1 million Jews were killed? Why do the logistics matter? He agrees that it was a horrible thing and that Jews were kept in camps and starved to death. Why do the semantics matter?

Do you sleep at night? You have to spend all of your time looking for the conspiracy in everything, don't you?

The fact of the matter is, the film isn't anti-semitic. I haven't seen it, but absolutely EVERYONE agrees that outside a couple of small contentious points (one of which includes a Jewish figure that becomes a hero), the film is based directly on a literal interpretation of the bible. I've grown up hearing those passages every single year. The stories specifically quote the crowds (who OBVIOUSLY were Jews) as saying "Crucify him! Crucify him!" We used to recite that in church every year around Easter time. It's a film based off the BIBLE! There's no conspiracy here. You can read for yourself what's written in the gospels and they'll CLEARLY lay out for you what their version of the story is. If they're anti-Semitic, then complain about them. Don't place the blame on Mel.

The fact is, anyone who's not personally anti-semitic won't take this movie as anti-semitic. This happened nearly 2000 years ago. Nobody blames anyone living today for these things. That'd be like blaming white people in America for slavery (sorry, did I just go there?). Ridiculous.

There's a very thin line between genius and insanity. I think you've jumped leaps and bounds over that line.

For the record, I was raised Catholic, but I'm a firm agnostic (is there really such a thing?) now.

I think some Jews look at the film and feel their guilt. So do the Christians. The difference is the Jews are not believers in Christ so they don't also see Christ as washing away their guilt like we do. SO they are left with the guilt and say "anti-semetic".
Which in turn makes them look more like the Jewish priests in the movie. Now don't let that fool you either. The Devil is doing everything he can to keep people from seeing this movie. The Devil does not want you to hear God's word or know Jesus' love.

LOL yeah it's all a big conspiracy created by the devil. Jews, liberals, gays and all other untermenschen are involved. They're trying to oppress the white man.

I started to call you a godless communist. But a godless communist wouldn't go to the movie period. A godless socialist would wait for the government to pay for it ;)

No. Some Jews look at anything related with Christianity and feel fear. They do not see the film itself as being anti-semetic, they feel it might inspire those to act, as other "Passion plays" have in the past. There's a history for both.

Not that those who would act on their hate need a film to do it.
