Mel Gibson's Crazy Dad Under Fire for Anti-Semitism

When I saw the headline, I thought, "Kirk Gibson? Does News Corp have to defame all of the Dodger greats?"

So, in addition to hating the English, he hates the Jews?

I'd like to see him do a Holocaust movie with as much historical accuracy as Braveheart. He'd have Himmler doing stage shows at camp buchenwald...

i sure hope Mel doesn't hold the same feelings that his father does about September 11th.

At least change the title to something that resembles the fact that IT WAS Mel's Father :disgust:

And that he's in his 80s and pretty crazy. Not to mention that a NY Time's reporter was basically calling Mel's father constantly trying to get him to say something shocking.

it worked 🙁

I don't think you can really say that Mel Gibson is totally innocent of anti-semitic feelings... at least not until he makes some sort of statement on the issue.

On Vatican II:

"Vatican II occurred because the realities inside the church door were not mixing with the realities outside the church door. The single most serious problem was that the claim that only Catholics get saved was too incredible for modern Catholics, and the theology of that point needed to be corrected."

I think we can collectively roll our eyes at the idea of a return to traditional catholocism.

Mel's dad is a nut, everyone knows this, including Mel, but Mel is not going to disrespect him by publicly calling him one.
