For some reason in my winamp playlist.. on about 3/4ths of my titles are missing the last letter on the artist or filename or both.. so it looks shortened... grr! im trying to generate a playlist for my backup purposes... its no big deal, but its an athsetic thing ... is there something else other then winamp or is there a way to fix winamp so i can get a nice html playlist?

ID tags have a maximum length, so my guess is that Winamp is reading the tag information and generating the playlist data from that. You can, however, set Winamp to not read tag info by going into Options and unchecking the "Read Titles On Load/Demand" boxes. Unfortunately, your generated playlist won't make much sense if your MP3s don't have meaningful filenames since tag info is no longer read.
