It must suck having no ability to understand nuance. Does it at least get you a handicapped parking space?

All of you were just defending her saying she is Native American based on the one drop or whatever. Did that change now?

Did it change for you suddenly?

Listen gramps, why don't you just get off of the internet for a few days, you have suffered a huge loss with having one of your own arrested and I'm sure its taking a toll on you.

Nope, and I think even someone in that thread said that they would find it a bit offensive if she just decided to dress in traditional native garb (I might be mistaking that thread for one on a different forum, if so then take it as something I would agree with). That is why I said nuance. The setting, the intention, and the execution matters. She was truthful in saying that she had American Indian heritage, but that does not mean she is incapable of being disrespectful of Native Americans (not that I've ever seen her be so). A Black man can wear 'blackface' that is respectful in that it works as a social commentary, or he can do it in a way that is totally disrespectful and racist. Being a PoC does not give you a automatic pass, but it does buy you some leeway because we know that PoC on average have a better understanding of what is disrespectful so it is a good idea to double check that you are not the one wrong.

So now we have gotten to the whole 'why isn't there a white history month' part of this discussion?

Black people dressing up as white people is not associated with a long-running history of racism and racist depictions of white people. Come on people, how hard is this to understand?

EDIT: For another good comparison try discerning why it was more of a problem to call Obama a monkey than to call GWB one.

So for something to be racist there is a minimum age requirement on it?

I think you are just showing us what irony looks like.

Elizabeth Warren is an "indian" according to the left because she has possibly an ancestor as far as 10 generations back. If I have African DNA from an ancestor many generations back, then I am an African American, according to the left.

Why do you continue to lie to people who know that you are a liar?

Interesting, so you're saying people weren't offended by blackface in the 1970's? Someone better tell the TV show cancelled when our good friend Megyn was 8, specifically over concerns of racism due to the use of blackface. (yes this was in the UK but if you really want to argue that black people in the US weren't similarly offended... come on.) What's to be offended about, after all? They were just dressing up like at Halloween!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Black_and_White_Minstrel_Show

You probably mean YOU weren't offended, but who cares about that?

I'm glad you put that up. You do understand that minstrel shows were very demeaning not because someone colored their faces black? They were shows that mocked people's actions and appearances. For someone to say that Megyn's example was the same as a 19th century minstrel show is silly. They don't even compare in the content, execution, or motivation. Is it a good idea to for a white person to paint their face black? Not really.

Do you think she was being a racist or supporting racism?

No, that's what your cult leader implied. The actual claim by Warren was that she had native American ancestry. But you know that but you are a piece of shit liar and simply parrot whatever your cult leader parrots (because he, like you, don't have an original thought).

You are revising history... Trump said if she could prove she's an "indian". She then came with this silly test and all you lefties claimed victory, she had done so. So if this proves she is "indian" by leftist standards, than certainly the hypothetical I proposed would allow me to wear black face.

Why would she need to prove something she never claimed?

Again, all you do is lie and lick trumps nuts. Your blood pressure has to be high with the amount of salt you are talking in with all that nut licking.
