megaworks 550D ppl with experience?

erm yea i just bought a megaworks 550D and its being shipped right now, was wounder how good these speakers are from your experiences? and show i tune the volume up slowly week by week so i wont blow sub? so not putting it on full blast right away? thanks for any replys🙂!
 
Couldn't imagine buying these instead of the Gigaworks, but anyways... No, just start them off at a medium volume and play music for a couple days to break them in.
 
well gigaworks is over my budget, im a 15 year old student and dont have 500$ to shell out for a speaker system, 200$ is even pushing it for me, anyone else that has stuff to say about the megaworks?
 
You'll like the speakers. Especially if you've got an Audigy soundcard. Yeah don't start them off at full blast. Let them warm up for 5-10 seconds. They can get pretty loud, but don't go past 75 % of max. I don't know any system that can handle full blast. Too much distortion will kill any speaker, it's not necessarily volume that does it. Anyway, I got mine a little over a year ago and I like em alot.
