Megahalems vs H50

So I use a 120mm fan running at 800 rpm on my megahalems.

If I ran the same fan on the H50, what kind of performance increase or decrease would I see?

This would be for a i7 920 @ 4.0 GHz 1.25 volts

Id recommend using two fans with the H50 on your i7. I also have a 920 @ 4.0 1.25v and use two gentle typhoons (1300 rpm I think) on my H50. Mine tops out at high 70's to low 80's which is probably about what you're seeing now.

Using one fan on the H50 your temps will go up compared to your Megahalems IMO. I had a Noctua NH-U12P (w/2 x 120mm fans) on it before the H50 and the H50 only matched what I was already getting. It was a sidegrade which I knew going in, just wanted to play with the H50.
