Ice Spiders?

I checked out the reviews. Found on Netflix:

Just to let you know im only twelve and this movie has been the worst movie in my life!I dont know where to begin on this! First off the acting and writing sucked.Second there is no originality in this movie.Ive seen people do giant spider movies multiple times.in fact there was tarantula in like the fifties or sixties.i would just love for the director of this movie to burn in hell.

And he's only 12!

Of course I immediately added it to my queue.

That was the thread that was posted about the trailer before the film came out. In fact, that's why I put it in my queue.
This thread is about the actual movie, and scenes from it.

I think i'll wait for the sequel to come out so i can watch them back-to-back.

wiki
Following the buzz generated by the release of the film's trailer, Gibson hinted on an interview that a sequel may be in the works. "Because God knows what else is in the ocean", she said. "I thought maybe a seahorse? Maybe a 500-foot lobster would be good. But yes, there is the potential for a sequel, and I would absolutely love it.

That's bizarre. Apparently if you have a good trailer, you now make a sequel?

Oh, and I found this on wiki:

Principal photography took place over the course of twelve days in January 2009

I guess I have ask, what took them so long?

btw if you want to see the other movies made this company, the type called 'mockbusters" here's a list:
