I just bought a ipaq from office depot, when i got home and opened it, it was filled with sand. I took it back to the store and i gave them my name and address and phone. any ideas? they said they were going to call me back.

Did they give you a replacement? Asking for ID like that is normal on returns. I don't know why, but I know that BB probably has me flagged as returning 2/3 of everything I buy. If it's crap I take it back.

what are you a wimp? any non wimpy person would of went there return it, if they say no, speak to manager demand money back if he says no then start causing a big scene, spill the sand on the floor, 100% he would give a return even if you talk to him and not come crying to a forum.

Uhh... are you kidding? Call up your credit card company, tell them not to pay Office Depot for the Ipaq. Go back to Office depot, ask to see th e manager, and throw the box with sand on his desk.

My guess is that some OD employee switched them. The ipaq is no doubt headed for ebay.

I'd be curious to know how much stolen goods passed through ebay...

Complain to Office Max corporate, or file in small claims court against that particular Office Max store, since they took the sand you paid for and won't give you your money back.

I would just go up in that sh!t and demand to speak to a manager and tell him straight up that I want my money back or another Ipaq, if you paid a couple hundred for it I would be pissed! :|
