It's finally here! The exciting non-sequel to the so bad its good Mega Shark versus Giant Octopus!
You may remember the famous Shark attacks jet plane scene:

Well, apparently no movie is bad enough not to make a sequel of in Syfy's universe.
And they resurrected 1980's pop star Tiffany to play against Deborah Gibson.

Saturday at 9pm on Syfy.

If you're expecting it to be awful, well, that's the whole idea.

saw bits of Mega Python vs. Gatoroid last night, really really bad. Alligators were as big as a 747.

SyFy is working on Titantic 2 guess what happens here, and Iron Invader, a monster formed from bacteria in scrap metal. Yawn.

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was pretty epic.

I love that they had like 4 pre-rendered sequences of the shark swimming and fighting the Octo, and they kept reusing them over and over, sometimes mirroring them left-to-right.

At the end of the party brawl between Nikki (Debbie Gibson) and Terry (Tiffany), Nikki says, "I think... we're alone now."

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was pretty epic.

I love that they had like 4 pre-rendered sequences of a the shark swimming and fighting the Octo, and they kept reusing them over and over, sometimes mirroring them left-to-right.

This one suffered from a too big budget.
Though, if you stick thru the first half it picks up. Snake eating train was good. And snake taking down blimp was also ok.

btw the only person who actually acted in the movie was the elderly park ranger. She was a hoot.

They should have just made a sequel to the first one, on further reflection.
