Mega Flush?

Is it me or does it seem like DPC are saving up blocks again for
another Mega Flush. I presume it is for New Years. What if they are
saving up enough blocks to over take us? I dread the thought.

Saying that I am out trying to dig up some interest with some folks
in the Wall Street area. Supposedly they will get some machines cracking at night. I guess if they feel comfortable with it, this
could end up being a large amount of power for a few hours a day.
A clock cycle is a clock cycle and I will get ever last one I can.
The tricky part will be getting them to actually join a team.
Any suggestions on how to convince them to join a team they are
not familiar with?

This is nothing compared to Dennilfloss incrediable work but I am
trying and have not given up! Let's see how long /. can keep em at bay. Just itching to see tonight's stats.

There won't be a MegaFlush dnet doesn't like it.
So we promissed not to do it again.
But ofcourse it is possible that some teams are having a newyearsflush.

So just wait and find out 😉

DanC, there you go again. Accusing us of not playing fair. All the DPC-members I know play fair. They assimilate only with the permission of the owner/sys.opp of the computer.
 
Great White North, Get them familiar with Team Anandtech. You could start with the website and/or the formus. Also point them at the Anandtech.com website. Wall Street types will appreciate the quality analysis done by Ananad and his staff.
 
Well as of today one person said they got two machines running *with*
permission. They are going to see if there are any complaints about
performace hits and such. If there are none he may have the
go ahead to hit more desktops.

Not necessary. I have a wry sense of humor - and lean a tad bit sarcastic. It's easy to miss it when I come off with some obscure whack.
 
You don't have to be intellectual to know Shakespeare... Just a penchant for re-reading the same passage 17 times until you &quot;understand&quot; what the heck the guy is trying to say.

I am all for that! Got permission to run a bunch of servers over the weekend since noone will be using them. It is only temporary but every block counts. Maybe I will forget to remove it and see if they notice. =)
