Inspired by kranky's thread...
Had a loudmouth in a meeting this morning also, about a web based project that I'm doing the implementation on. This guy immdiately raises his voice and proceeds to tell me I'm an idiot basically because a report wasn't formatted the way he expected it to be. Now there are options available on the form that will format it exactly the way he wants it, but it isn't the default. So I tell him, fine. it's a no brainer, I will make it the default. But he continues to harp on it ... that the whole project reeks of incompentence because of this etc., etc. :roll:
Now I've dealt with this guy before, almost had to break up a fight he was trying to instigate. He's been referred for "anger management" twice that I know of. So I just kind of sat back and rolled my eyes ... which really spun him up 😀 Finally, my boss basically tells him to shut up, that it will be changed.
So anyway, the meeting breaks up, I spend all of 30 seconds making the change, and made damn sure the email about it was in everyones inbox before they got back to their offices :Q
Anyway, I'll be glad to be done with this web monkey project, and get back to doing engineering again.
