Meet your new Ole Miss Rebels mascot(s)

Thanks to the political correctness Gods, the old Ole Miss rebels mascot (which looked like Col. Sanders) is going to be replaced with a hipper, more modern mascot. After an exhaustive search and spending University money on a marketing firm and then sending them packing, the grand University of Mississippi has selected the following as the two finalists for its new mascot.

In a similar vein, I've come up with the following remarks about these mascots.

• Queer Eye For The Ole Miss Rebels

• Didn't we see these two in the Blue Oyster Bar in the Police Academy Movies?

• So, you want to get rid of the old mascot because it perpetuated a stereotype and the best you can come up with is another stereotype to perpetuate?

• What a tragic tragic waste of Mississippi tax payer money

• All that's missing is the mobile home, the beer-swilling girlfriend, and a wife-beater t-shirt
