Meet the Pyro video out...

Funny but doesn't allude to the gender of the pyro which is a missed opportunity, except for the scout referring to the pyro as "he".

The dream world is a bit girly though 🙂

lol, how can you say it doesn't allude "except for" and then point out a case where they do just that? 😛

It was never a question to begin with back in the early days of TF2, and then somewhere along the game's lifetime some fans started making a big fuss about it, and I think Valve decided to just run with it for teh lulz.
 
So wonderful. And Valve gives the movie making apparatus to the community... for free... for the free game.

For the couple things they do questionable, they do games right.

In QW TF1 the pyro was in fact a "he". Guess it would make sense to make it a female for diversity in TF2.

Because that just seems like part of the dialogue to me, it's not really a good indicator either way because you have to refer to the pyro as he/she at some point.

Well the Pyros space in the locker model which appears in game has a purse with a flower on it, valve later added a random selection for "he" and "she" with in-game references to the Pyro, they're well known for playing up to the community for things like this.

I'd have expected them to play on that significantly in the video at least toying with the fans if not outright confirming it either way...

If you turn on the subtitles/cc the scout says "he's not here, is she?"

That sounds like something a girl would do. The only truly psycotic people I know are women.
 
So what were all of the goldfish, cheese, pocket lint, etc for? Are they related to the upcoming summer sale?
