Caught snippets so far, seems like the same old format, adapted for more conversations.

Seinfeld was all old jokes.

Kanye on now, looking remorseful.

That was what Leno wanted - a show with similar format to what the Tonight Show was.

Edit:

Haha. It was pretty funny though. Kanye looked like he had just been grounded or something.

He's supposed to do some more auto based stuff such as a star in a green car, etc which I'm looking forward to. I thought it was a good show. I'll hold my judgment after I see a few shows.

I wasn't too impressed with the opening episode...but I'll hold off on passing judgement for a while. I'm sure it'll take some time to "get the kinks worked out" of the new show. I figure a week...two at the most. Time will tell.

i'm no psychologist.. but kanye's body language, with the touching of back of head and face when he apologizes... makes all his words meaningless

I doubted he actually meant anything up until Leno pressed on about his mom.

yeap. only reason he apologized is everyone seems to be telling him that was dumb. He probably thinks they all should be giving him high fives and saying he is the man.

But i don't think he really understands why people are mad.

Well, I think he would have preferred staying on the Tonite show, but the network wanted someone who would appeal to a younger audience.
