Meet my daughter, Adria Nicole Major!!

Adria Nicole Major was born via cesarean section on June 5th 2005 at 8:31PM weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and was 18.25 inches long. Mom, baby, and Dad are all fine! I have a short video of her having the hiccups for the first time, and here is the beginnings of her picture gallery. I also have pictures from the C-Section and some breastfeeding, but the wife has asked those stay on the camera and PC and off the internet 🙂

It was very odd being in the room while she was having the c-section and then being offered to stand up and watch and take pictures.

Gah, we had to go back to the hospital due to jaundice. Here is a picture of her in the incubator with the lights on and an IV in her foot.

We just had our Birthing Class last night where they went over the actual birth and C-sections and all that stuff. Was definitely strange to even be watching it on a video. We're due the beginning of August which is getting closer and closer. Heh.

congrats!!

i wasn't allowed to take pics of my wife during the c-section 🙁

congrats!

make sure your wifey stays put until she is healed... my cousin's wife ruptured her stitches and then there was an infection and it was a complete PITA for everyone for about 3 months.

I've never seen a good, clear c-section pic. It would be interesting.

Anyway, congrats ;0

I trust you to send one via PM, but I don't think the wife does! Give her a few weeks, she may not care. You really don't see anything but iodine colored skin and bloody baby coming out...

congrad.... so who get first crack at changing diaper?

heh, wife wasn't allowed to get out of bed for 12 hours after the c-section so I got to change the first 4 diapers or so, 3 wet and one that was what i like to call "newborn tar poop"

May your child never poop in the bathtub.

 heh, that's a great thing to wish upon us, I appreciate it!

EWWWWWWW! I hated changing the first few diapers. Like black tar that gets litterally on everything and sticks like tar as well. Congrats though. I would do it all over again if I could have another litter person 😀

wow, that's... um... cool? I didn't think my website was well known enough to be "categorized" as anything. I guess there might be something "Gruesome" somewhere in some directory. Websense still has it "Miscellaneous Uncategorized" I think
