I laugh at all of you that say it sucks, it is el cheapo, crap, etc. but you give no reasons. >>
Actually the store that I visited was near Harrisburg. The reason I did not have a particularly good opinion was due to the appearance and condition of the store. It looked third world
I have no qualms about shopping in poorly organised/outfitted shops - but this particular store had nothing I would normally buy. That means the range of products (not brands) were not what I usually buy.

But pretzels, cookies, bread, milk, canned veggies and fruit, and most of their frozen food has no difference of taste >>
I don't buy pretzels, cookies, canned veg or frozen food, but the products which I usually buy were not any cheaper than when I shopped at Giant or Walmart. I'm all for cheaper (not lesser quality!) products.
I work for a German company (Siemens) and even the German colleagues that I have over here were complaining about the Aldi Markt. They did not shop their either.
I guess the stores will vary from region to region though - I find that the quality/prices of supermarkets/grocery stores in general is not so good down here in Florida, than when I was in MO or PA. I really don't understand why Tropicana (Florida) Orange Juice is more expensive in Walmart down here than in Walmart in PA???
