Medieval Total War 2 Offical Thread

I'm getting occasional lag on highest settings at 1680x1050 with my rig with 2xAA. How is the game playing for you all?
 
The demo was really heavy on my system, unplayable for all intents and purposes. This is one game where having an 8800GTS/X will be a big help.

So they've fixed the horrible AI?
The demo I played did have gorgeous graphics but the unit response to commands was not that of seasoned veterans, more like 10 year olds with halberds and crossbows.
Please let me know if this game is worth buying!

I can't wait. I've always wanted a game like this.. Medieval : Total War is alright... but the graphics are not great. This one will be a huge improvement I hope.

This will make me upgrade my rig. This or Diablo 3.

You must be joking . . . the Medieval 2 demo ran fine on maxed settings on my X1900XT. 🙂
