Why don't fairs have, like...people painting and...inventing...or something? They seem awful 'medieval' to me.

I really don't get why you are so obsessed with things that happened before your country even existed. Go look at the pretty neon lights in vegas or something. You gave up all your links to the past when you tried to make tea in the ocean.

Show was OK, food was OK, everything else was quite pricey. I wasn't expecting that. Regardless, I had a good time. But as someone stated above, a one time viewing would be enough....unless the daughter talks us into going.
I was there once about 15 years ago. It was pretty good. It's one of those things where once is enough.
