Thanks for replies.
I've posted same Q on Head-Fi and got different opinions...to use Foobar2000 or CUETools instead...
Well, I think, anyway, I'll go with Medieval CUE Splitter.
I've tried Medieval CUE Splitter on few albums/files, works like a charm...
Did listen to songs I've split from whole file/album, sounds very good - same...

Did check size of all songs vs. image - single file, it got little more in size - 474,043,867 bytes - of all songs in a folder vs. 473,626,564 bytes - single file - whole album....

Thanks again,

G

multiple files= more blocks on hdd. Also, there are headers and footers so they add to the byte count too.

I have used it on ape and wave files, no issues. I never tried to use foobar2000 for that, I do use it for wasapi playback.

Ok...after doing some reading, I decided to go with Cue Tools...

I don't know if Cue Splitter does - to split .ape image to .flac tracks...Cue Tools does this pretty good. My HifiMan does partially support .ape files, I've got some .ape images that my player didn't play. Now I can play these albums split to tracks in .flac format.

Cue Tools - very easy to use...
