Medicine

Actually, I think liquid charcoal just soaks bad things up. There is something else that makes you throw up. I THINK. I might be wrong.

Yeah, the correct way is ipecac, then liquid charcoal. My bad.

So the answer is ipecac. <reminisces about The Curse of Monkey Island>

ipecac is the "traditional" medicine to make you throw up, but that's old skool.

How about just suffer through it? Chances are if the stuff's making you sick, it's already past your stomach...they usually induce vomiting for SERIOUS things, like poisons, ODs, etc.

I used to try & hold food down if I started feeling ill, but it seemed to prolong the agony every time.

I've found that the best thing to do is to make myself vomit as soon as I start to feel ill so now thats what I do ... hasn't happened in quite awhile though, thank goodness!

I am scared ot throw up i have a phobiea that I thing I will drown in my own vomit so thats why i dont vomit but it i need to like life or death i will throw up ever time I threw up i was fine but I built up that aphobia.

If it makes you feel any better, it is fairly rare to choke on your own vomit. And it usually happens if you drink a LOT and then pass out first.

I hope that makes you worry less. Just think about it -- babies throw up almost every day, and 99.99% of them are just fine 😉
