I can't breathe out of my left nostril and its annoying the hell out of me.
there's nothing in my actual nose, so it must be clogged up in my nasal passage or whatever you call it.

i've been like this since saturday morning and i've taken tylenol sinus/allergy and some sudafed, but it doesn't clear my nose.

whats the best thing to use to clear up my nose?

I have this too, theres always one nostril i can't breathe out of, always! it switches but its never both...
Its when the inside of your nose gets swollen or something, never looked into a fix for it..

Try this.

I actually have the same problem but been a problem all my life. Mine switch sides all the time though. Sometimes both I can breath out of but for the most part it is just one. learned to live with it. LMK if my link helps you and I may try it

mine isn't constantly stuffed. usually its just a runny nose or light stuffed nose, but this time it's totally stuffed/blocked.

Back in highschool, I was told that your nostrils naturally switch off ever 30 mins or so for the "dominant" airflow. Whenever I had paid attention, it seemed accurate for me. What it sounds like to me is you got something clogging up your nose, and when it switched over it cleared out a little but there's still something there limiting it. I'll have to ask a doctor friend about it.
