I've had this line across me throat area going from one end of the throat area to the other. I went to a doctor six months ago, he diagnosed it, gave me meds/antibiotics and it didn?t help. I was to busy and mad to complain.
I noticed that if I do not shave for 3-4 months it goes away, but three days later after shave it comes back up... Its red, and there are bumps here and there...

Any ideas what I should do and what it could be?

my expert opinion is that you no longer shave..here is a lollipop...paypal me 100 dollars for this consultation.....buh bye and please come again ... :p:)

but seriously it may be that when u shave you leave stubble or the growing stubble irritates that area...the skin my fold over a bit and irritate so u get that line..

LOL

it could be that your skin is sensitive to shaving, especially if you don't shave often. try moisturizing aftershave lotion (not the OldSpice crap) right after you shave, or think about switching to electric shaver (although you need to shave everyday if you want to use electric).
when i do get irritation from shaving, i ALWAYS use Cortizone-10® Plus Creme made by Pfizer, and that always does the trick. try it, the redness and the bumps will go away within a day.
