I can almost understand guys posting for advice on romantic situations. ATOT is as good as Dear Abby. But why in hell would anyone post here for medical advice?

Well, some people here ARE certified EMTs or paramedics. However, in any emergency medical situation, the internet isnt fast enough.

While I'm a licensed Paramedic, I have to agree with you.

How old are you? When I was 10 I used to visit my mom at the hospital every week when she had breast cancer, and went to see her before every surgery. Even a comparatively minor surgery like appendicitis isn't something to be taken lightly.

[stupid british person question] You have to pay for an ambulance? Woah, thats just wierd. I knew Americans had to pay for healthcare etc, but I'd never considered that that would include Ambulances too.
Wait - would you have to pay for a fire engine if your house was on fire?
[/stupid british person question]

Mate...seriously...if it's serious enough to stop a grown man in his tracks with stomach pains and sweating it's serious enough to call an Ambulance.

I was going to say it sounds like he ate a curry last night...

they are probably just trying to protect their "little boy"

In situations like this, to your parents youll always be their little boy.
Youre stuck at home so surf some porn on your dads computer:D
