A qtip touched my eardrum yesterday. Now there is a rustling noise when I move my ear. I can hear fine for now.

Am I going to die?

you have pneumocranium. it would be invariably fatal except that the people who have it don't realize that they're supposed to be dead already.

You just stabbed your brain. In three days if you notice a burning sensation in that ear and some grey matter on your pillow in the mornings when you wake up, post here before seeking medical attention.

The qtip has transferred water into your ear. I suggest you take a long, slim pen with a piece of toilet paper wrapped around it, and stuff it as far in your ear as you can. Some bleeding, pain, and loss of hearing is to be expected, but temporary.

elementary.

some lint or dust from the q-tip got stuck in your ear. When you move, it rubs against your ear drum, causing the vibrations/noise. Just roll up some tissue and gently attempt to clean it out.

This is most likely the cause but to go and stick another object in your ear is just stupid... You really need to be careful if you are going to use a Qtip to clean out your ears. The OP will eventually end up with a really nasty ear infection if he continues to dig to deep for dirt with qtips...
