I think you should be reading more about this... just for your sake. But she has to take treatment to try and keep outbreaks from occuring.

EDIT: Personally... i don't think it's ok. But it's not my business to tell you what to do and what not to do between you two.

Did she tell you this before or after you had sex. Its between the two of you, but you should get checked if you have had intercourse.

This one broad I was doing had it for sure......really nice of her to tell me. So I took extra precaution just for her. (don't ask)
