These are double-sided hard plastic sleeves. I have these in a Laserline cd case and they stand up to a lot. Box of 100 holds 200 cd's for $7.99 at Big Lots B&M.

I can attest to the quality of these sleeves (been using some for 3+ years). Like allisolm said, they are hard plastic and double sided. The fabric of the sleeve is pretty durable and hasn't scratched up my CDs too much (from what I can tell). Unfortunately, you really do need to put 2 CDs in each sleeve because if you only put one in, it will be prone to sliding. On the flip side, squeezing 2 CDs in one of these babies is kind of a tight. If you're looking for a durable, economical, space saving alternative to CD jewel cases, look no further!
