Mediacard driver for Dell 2405fpw?

Is a driver needed for using the Dell 2405fpw's mediacard reader? I have 1GB and 4GB SD cards, and when I insert either, and click on the drive in explorer, they both come up with "Drive is not formatted, would you like to format." I've used both of them before with this monitor, but I've since reformatted, and I don't know if I had installed a driver or not. Can't seem to find anything about it on google, so now I'm worried...

Both cards work FINE in their respective devices and contain data that I do not want to lose!!

I didn't know u needed to install a driver. Did u plug in the specific cable for the media card reader? Ask on Dell forums?

If you haven't already done this you should remove the usb cable connecting the computer and monitor. Wait about 30 seconds and reconnect it. You should hear two tones, one when you remove and another when you connect. This will force Windows to reconnect with the monitor which should be all thats needed. I'm not aware of a separate driver being needed.
