I was wondering, what stereotypes have you guys seen recently by american media? like how things are portrayed etc? is it like this around the world? and yes, examples would be nice!

The big stereotype is that if you disagree with the ruling political party then you're automatically "antiamerican".. That's a big one... People are going ape-sh1t about a silly little joke in little nemo.. it's sickening..

Of course, the line is spoken from the perspective of Australian characters. If anything, it's a stereotype that all Australians refer to Americans as "Yanks".

Not that I'm guessing any Americans were particularly annoyed by the portrayal of a filth-eating shrimp as an effeminate Frenchman.
