Hello all, I am interested in building a media server for my basement and store movies and music on it. From there I want to output the A/V to my reciever and then from there to the TV. How easy/hard is it if I have to pass it through the Yamaha receiver I have? Will there be problems with encoding/decoding twice and such? I can connect the audio via fiber optics but will the computer output raw music or the MP3, and will the recieve decode it? Also, with a decent videocard how bad would the picture appear on a 50" old school mitsubishi TV? (not high def). Is there anyway I could improve the picture quality?
