Hi,
My system runs Win2k Pro and IE 5.5SP1. For some reason, IE no longer recognizes MP3 files. When I click on a link directing to an MP3 file, IE opens the MP3 file. In other words, I see thousands of lines of weird characters. IE no longer ask me if I want to "save" to disk. In Win2k Pro folder/file format setting, Winamp handles MP3. Also, When I click on a link to a WAV, IE does the same thing as for MP3. It opens the file rather than linking to Media Player. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.
