I'm looking for a media player that plays HD content over my network such as the WD Live. I know some of you are "audiophiles" and can somehow hear stuff that to me doesnt sound humanly possible but I'm obviously not. lol.

Heres my requirements

Must have:
HDMI output port
1080p
Ethernet port
atleast 1 USB port

Nice to have:
Netflix
multiple USB ports
eSata

I currently use my XBOX 360 because I gave my dad my PS3 to use for his media center however practically nothing works on the 360 compared to the PS3 or other media players so I'm trying to replace it with something actually useful.

I'm from Canada and can't order from amazon.COM however can use amazon.ca, canadacomputers.com, ncix.ca, and newegg.ca even though they're retards there. I'm looking for under 100$ if possible but willing to spend just over 100$ if required.

Has anyone seen any options that meet my requirements that are decent quality?

Additional info:

TV: 32inch Sony Bravia2
Sound: 850 watt sony dream system, paid 150 5 years ago
XBOX 360 media player.

WD Live plus is about as good as it gets for the price. It plays just about anything and qualilty is as good as any other options because they all tend to use the same chipsets.

The real problem with the live is if the content is non standard. Like if someone used some odd MKV encoder settings. Otherwise it plays just about everything without a problem. They also recently added bluray iso support.

Just run PS3mediaserver. Easy transcoding of everything that's served to your Xbox.

Cool thanks, Thats the one I was thinking of but for some reason Amazon.ca wants 150$ for it while its 90$ on amazon.com

I've tried media server, doesnt work as well as TVersity. And I'm getting rid of my XBox.
